I guess for the 1st year, you can see the progress of your baby being quite apparent ..and so all the way through December, i can see his speech as well as his walking skill developing tremendously..at leaps and bounds..pardon the pun hahahah....
he started off with a-ya... then with goo goo gaga ( i mentioned this in an earlier post).. then at some point..his fav phrase was pika pika pika pika.. guess dat means everything and anything to him... so whenever i fetch him.. alone or with his Ayah.. when you ask him abt his day.. at some point he'd launch in with this pika pika pika...heheheh
As i said, he had managed A-ya even a couple of months ago..and mmmy came up some point later... but there was a day quite recently...i heard quite distinctively... muuuuuuummmmmmmmyyyy....albeit said with a whine.. im not complaining..not when it came on my birthday (cue teary eyes..)....but as the glam babes had warned me..once they start..theyd not stop...so nowadays..its ummmy here..mmmy there... mmmmy everywhere a la old macdonald...like tonite, i was in the loo, when i heard a tentative mmmmmy??....chis.. nak pee2 pun tak aman oredi...
but i kept reminding myself and D Ayah that we have to be careful as to what we say , as MIniman has the habit of imitating.. as we malays wd say, ikut mulut... e.g. i would usually say Allahuakbar..usually when im tired and most often when im about to sit down after being long on my feet...so there was a day ..when i said that ..Allaaaahuakbar, and i heard an echo..allaaaubat..of course, ppl wd say im biased seeing that it IS my son..firstborn lak tu..but since Ayah, and my sister also heard it... guess i might have heard right..
another word in his vocab wd be (while hanging on to your legs..) ukung...and the other day...when Ayah said.. makann...he echoed dat too...
Oh and he IS a talker..hahahah..dunno where he gets dat from (cue rolled eyes)...hahahaha.. seriously..only of course i still dont understand most of it..i guess all those would be words sometime soon..till then, i enjoy the listening to him babytalking... no hurry my dear boy... all in good time...
